I wanted to work the initials into the design of the cat. I hid the S & C in the cat’s tail and curve of the body. I wanted the logo to stay legible scaled down, so I kept the logo minimal and added an arched back for the scared cat and bright yellow eyes that pop. I wanted to make the design cohesive overall (the idea, logo, and typeface). I opted for a typewriter typeface to match with the scary feel and go with the publishing theme.
